Domain 04 · Rental contracts

Self-storage rental contract software

In TheStorageControl every rental contract follows a fixed lifecycle: draft, signature, active, ending and closed. Tenants sign digitally. Activation prepares access and starts billing; on termination, move-out, access deactivation and financial settlement follow automatically.

Contracts overview with the lifecycle: draft, awaiting signature, starting soon, active and move-out scheduled

Without one system

Paper contracts, signatures that take days and access that still works after the contract has ended.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can tenants sign their contract digitally?

Yes. The rental agreement is signed digitally and the signature status is visible and filterable for each contract.

What happens when a contract ends?

Termination is linked to the move-out, access deactivation and financial settlement. After move-out, the unit is released for rent again.

Can I attach insurance to contracts?

Yes. You create insurance cover on a contract, enrol tenants in a product and track policies, claims and premium revenue.

How do rent increases work?

You prepare rent increases from the contracts overview: announce them to the tenants concerned and they take effect per contract. Every change is kept in the contract history.
